Expanding our reach – Frome Depot is now OPEN!
From humble roots, the Peterborough-based firm has grown exponentially and currently operates out of its large central headquarters. EPD Insulation Group is opening a second distribution site in Frome, Bristol, expanding their delivery service into the Southwest, encompassing the South of England, Devon, South Wales and North of Cornwall. The Frome depot will add up to 30 delivery vehicles when fully operational. In addition, this site will contribute to employment for the local community, with plans of employing up to 50 staff.

Tony Brown adds: “Our operations will still be centric with sales, accounts, transport, logistics and marketing based at our Head Office in Peterborough. This will ensure a smooth process for both depots and will remain to provide the excellent service we give our customers.”
Steve Boon, Chairman and Founder, comments: “We are also committed to driving down our carbon footprint here at EPD and have invested in 14 charging points for company hybrid and electric vehicles at the head office. With the new depot in Frome, we will be able to offer potential next-day deliveries to the South and reduce our mileage.”
In March this year, EPD launched its ‘Digital Electronic Proof of Delivery’ (EPOD) system to streamline the delivery process to meet one of its Sustainability objectives using a paperless system.
