The course is provided by Skills and Education Group Awards, a well-established organisation known for its commitment to high-quality education and training. It fully complies with the standards set by Ofqual, the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation, ensuring that the certification is both credible and recognised across the industry. This accreditation highlights the rigorous nature of the program and its alignment with national qualification standards.

Michael’s journey with EPD began in 2010 as the company’s very first employee. Starting as a van driver, he progressed through various roles, gaining experience in warehouse and stock management, before being promoted to Logistics Manager in 2015. His career trajectory showcases his hard work, adaptability, and dedication to the company’s success.

Currently, Michael leads a team of six and is mentoring an apprentice who has been selected as a finalist for an Apprentice Award; a strong evidence of his leadership skills and commitment to developing others. His close collaboration with the sales, transport, and driver teams further underscores his pivotal role within EPD.

As part of EPD Insulation expansion growth, a second depot opened in Frome near Bristol; Michael also supported the new team with training and development for logistics infrastructure and processes.

Outside of work, Michael is a dedicated father of two and brings the same energy and determination from his athletic pursuits—boxing, skiing, and competitive sports—to his professional role. An avid runner, he regularly trains for half marathons around Peterborough, channeling his passion for fitness into his leadership. His focus, both personally and professionally, continues to inspire his team and drive the success of EPD Group.
