Steel Frame Systems

What are Steel Frame Systems (SFS)?

Steel Frame Systems (SFS) is a system of precision-engineered steel components (studs and tracks) from light-gauge cold-rolled steel and associated fixings and accessories. These components, fixings and accessories can be engineered and designed to create framed structures from simple garden sheds to more complex multi-storey office or residential buildings.

Steel Framed Systems (SFS) consists of easy-to-assemble steel columns, beams, and other structural components that provide perfect solutions for load-bearing and non-load-bearing situations. The most common Steel Frame System is the infill system used within the primary structure as external walls on concrete/steel framed buildings to support the building’s façade systems. The versatility of SFS means it can be used for other solutions such as continuous walling, lightweight structures, and dividing walls in high bay situations.

The construction industry uses Steel Frame Solutions (SFS) as an on-site ‘stick build’ solution, which is very well suited to modern methods of construction, helping deliver cost savings but, more importantly, time, making the solution more efficient in terms of its potential return on investment for investors.
